Our team “Kreative Artz” created the illustrations for Hole in My Sole, bringing its powerful anti-bullying message to life through expressive characters, emotional storytelling, and engaging visual scenes. Each illustration was carefully crafted to help young readers connect with the protagonist’s journey from fear and sadness to courage, healing, and self-belief.
One of the main challenges was visually representing complex emotions such as sadness, fear, loneliness, and hope in a way that children could easily understand. We also needed to balance the serious theme of bullying with an encouraging and age-appropriate visual style while maintaining consistency throughout the story.
Our goal was to create relatable characters and meaningful illustrations that support the book’s message of kindness, resilience, and emotional growth. Through thoughtful visual storytelling, we aimed to encourage children to speak up, seek support, and stand against bullying.
